Just what I was looking for to store my extra coffee in the frig. I can take it from the frig to the microwave adn voila, hot steaming coffee. I have a smaller one but it's not large enough for the coffee I brew. Very pleased. It's worth the cost.Best ever. The lid can be used in micro wave to keep food from spraying onto micro wave cabinet inside.Open a can of veg. and put lid on and heat in Micro wave. Re heat left overs. Just the correct size for daily use. There is just the two of us so it gets much use.Love Pyrex! So far I've lived 58yrs with it. Lost a 50+ yr old Fr cake pan in white. :( I'm sure I'll love the 2cup measuring cup as well as all other. I'm actually using it to hold bacon grease in a frig. The lid is the key reason I purchased this size. Looks sturdy enough for the job. A satisfied customer.I have tried other brands and the print eventually wears off in the dishwasher. Pyrex print lasts. The top is invaluable and I wish they had this in the one cup size. I use it to reheat soup and chili. It is good to know it is safe and long-lasting.I like using this for cooking in the 18 wheeler. It is microwave safe too so that helps.This was my main reason for purchasing this one. I was using my former one mostly for putting in 1/4 cup of milk,1/4 cup of oil and an egg. It was to bring it up to the one cup value. It was so difficult to do that in my old one. This one is perfect. you can see the markings so well - the markings are opposite of the handle - it works out so well. I was sorry it took me so long to make up my mind to get it, since my old one was still o.k. Glad I did buy it. My eyes are not as good as they used to be and this measuring cup is super.I have an older model. The pouring lip on this one is not as deep as my older model. It does not pour as easily. I’m disappointed. Sometimes there’s a pouring mess on the counter. That said, all other qualities are good on this model.Love the sturdiness of this one though.I bought this because it has a lid and can be used in the MW to heat up products like spagetti sauce or other left overs, as well as liquids without splashing all over the oven (speaking of which, it can also be used in the oven or range top). It is a very versatile product. It has been perfect thus far. And Pyrex is made in the USA with a lifetime warrantee ... far better than some of the plastic stuff (for heating in a MW) made in other countries where QA and toxicity, in my mind, is questionable.Absolutely love it. It’s the modern version of the classic Pyrex one I’ve had for thirty years. This one will probably out live me lol.The silicone lid makes this an excellent acessorty to completely eliminate spatters and popped food in the microwave. The silicone lid has two built in screen openings to let stream out and to facilitate draining the contents. Easy clean up.I use this daily in the lunch room. Would definitely order again.My kids used to wake me up (way too early) to pour milk on their cereal, because the one gallon jug is too heavy for them to lift. Now, I fill the measuring cups with milk the night before and they look after their own breakfast! - Fun for them and more sweet dreams for me! (The lids are a great feature!)This is a great measuring cup. The lid fits nicely! My spout looks like it has a little nick in it, not sure it that was factory made or if it happened in shipping. Doesn't affect the quality or usage of the cup.It's a measuring cup with a lid. The lid is not too loose.
