I had bought these liners before for a wedding, or at least I thought they were the same ones. A previous order listed the description as "purple". I didn't double check I was ordering the same ones. The description for this one also says "purple" but they are more fuchsia. So the cupcakes at the wedding had two different colored liners. Other than a poor description, they were fine.I would say the color is more towards the pink side than purple. It will work fine as the frosting will be orange. I needed a color that would compliment the frosting. The violet will do that.They look exactly like the picture, so my bad there.Like other reviewers said these liners are more of a pink purple. Luckily for me the bride didn't need a specific shade of purple! On all other accounts these liners were great!Like many reviewers said the color is more fushia then purple. If you are looking for true purple, do not buy these. They worked well for my purpose and once thy we're baked with a chocolate cupcake, the color darkened a bit and worked well with my cupcake wrappers I had bought.Keeps it's color well even when making chocolate cupcakes. Would reccomend to anyone wanting liners that keep their color. I know they can be har dto find as most big box stores don't carry them. However, I found that Reynold Staybrite cups can be found at select WalMarts as well as Wilton Colorcups. Micheals always seems to have the Wilton ones. But if you are looking for a solid color, the Goldas ones are what you should get.Shipping was good and they worked out but it's hard to get just the right colors on-line. They are a little darker then I wanted. I think I was the only one that noticed.They were not as shiny as I thought they would be, from looking at picture. They were purple so I was still pleased.The product served its purpose. They worked well.
