I'll start off with this disclaimer: I haven't lit this candle yet, so I can't tell you how it burns or how quickly it lights. It's a candle, so I feel like those things are important. But, I can tell you, based on others' reviews, I was very hesitant and discouraged about buying this candle. I was afraid, that like so many other reviewers, I'd receive a broken candle and be really disappointed. I decided to go ahead and try my luck, but early enough so that if I needed a back up plan I could get something else. I'm so glad that I did. My Mermaid tail came whole and intact. It was not cracked, broken, or misshapen in anyway. It's actually a lot larger than I thought it would be (not really sure what I was expecting, but I wasn't expecting it to be so thick). It's very pretty and has some sparkles, which is a huge plus for me, and it looks just like the picture! I'd say take the risk, you've got a 50/50 chance. Can't wait until my LO see this.
