These spoons are shiny, made of a good sturdy material and very very nice. They have fun designs, I bought my first set at the Santa Claus House in North Pole, Alaska. I loved them so much I ordered 2 more(identical) sets on Amazon. I still want more but they are out of stock. They make great presents AND are completely functional. I have run them through the dishwasher many times and they still look great.
