They work nicely but still are hard to figure out how long to cook them properly. My wife says these work great. Two things to keep in mind.1. Do NOT overfill.2. Do NOT skip the step of coating with oilIt also helps to have some method of keeping the "pods" upright when boiling. Shown in the photo is a foldable strainer that seems to work well in keeping the pods together and upright.I was hoping these would work with egg substitutes, so this morning I tried them with Just brand eggs. They turned out great! After washing and coating the insides with cooking spray, I used only the Just in one, and in the others I added a little vegan cheese and crumbled vegan sausage. There were no instructions, so I looked online and decided to boil mine for 15 minutes, then plunge into cold water. That seems to be right. The egglette with cheese and sausage had a little liquid squeezing out, but the plain Just did not, so I think that was a side effect of melting fake cheese, which is always an iffy proposition. The texture and flavor were much better than the frozen sous vide eggs Just makes, and those are pretty pricey. With these I can easily make my own flavor combinations for a fraction of the price. I very happy with this purchase and I can’t wait to experiment some more!I disliked the fact that they came in a clear plastic bag without the original packaging. There was also no instructions available. According to the information there should have been both. This is very easy if you do it right. Bring water to boil and put on lowest flame with eggs in water for about 20 minutes. Do not let water go above red lid. I find they come out easier when they are still warm.I disliked not getting the instruction manual.Came in a plastic bag with no box and no instructions at all. I am sure it is to keep the cost down. They are a no brainer to use...but still, the ad showed different. I am sure they will work just fine.
