Better for cold drinks. Become a little soft with hot coffee in them.I wanted to buy some paper cups so I could make mug cakes in them. Mug cakes are when you add some pancake mix, water or milk, into a cup and microwave for a minute. Out comes a piping fresh mini cupcake! You can add flavoring, vanilla, syrup, cocoa, etc to the cup for toppings or add fruit. I wanted paper cups because I run out of coffee mugs if I have these nightly. This was a good deal on these cups and they were the right size to make one mug cup and they are okay for hot or cold and okay in microwave. This color was the best price but I love Tiffany teal anyway so win win! They come in a box with 8 cups plastic wrapped together, twelve packages altogether.They work great and seem like they would last through a day of liquid use. Very sturdy. I am very happy with the quality and would feel comfortable that they will not easily leak or fall apart with use.The listing says they are "Made in the USA" but they say on the packaging that they are made in China. I bought specifically because the listing said it was made in USA so that is very disappointing.Useful & a bargain for the price.Big improvement over the name brand Dixie 9oz cups. More sturdierMet my needs as expectedThese cups were purchased to use for milk and orange juice during a breakfast with Santa event. They worked fine for that purpose! They are just the right size for children and youth and easy to carry without spilling. They do not collapse when filled with liquid, so that is a definite asset, as some cups do start to break down after having liquid in them for a while. The green color is a good solid as well and went beautifully with the red plates and white napkins.I used the cups for regular every day household use for 3 childrenBought these for a party and many of them of them leaked with coffee. Had to double them up.
