Big fan of Le Creuset,so this fits right in.It's advertised as 6 cups, but even filled to the very top (which you can't do with a dog unless you want a mess), it was maybe 5. Other than that, mine had some imperfections in the finish, but they are hardly noticeable. The material is not cast iron like most Le Creuset, but it has a rubber bottom that prevents it from sliding around instead of using weight. The finish is the same as far as I can tell and it's super easy to clean and looks great. It matches our kitchen perfectly and our dog started using it no problem.Sticker came off and left no residue (seems minor, but always nice not to scrape stuff off).Easy to cleanI normally use stainless steel dog bowls for my crew of misfit pups (except the one who inhales his food and needs a slow feeder lol) so thought this might be a nice addition to add to the collection. It is very attractive, easy to clean in the dishwasher, and lightweight. It is enamel over steel which I was skeptical about durability but it seems like it will hold up. So far, no issues with chipping or any signs of wear which is great! I love the cute bone design on the inside as well. The size is great for a medium or larger dog and has a great rubberized bottom to keep it from sliding all over the place. My main knock on this is that it's made in China. For the brand and the price point, I really would have liked to have seen it made elsewhere. With this particular brand I just feel like I have a higher expectation that it's made in Europe somewhere or the US.So far so good otherwise though. This is a very cute, stylish bowl. I like it because it's sturdy but not super heavy like some stoneware bowls I have. It has a good non-stick bottom....it really doesn't go anywhere...and deep sides that keep the water drool in the bowl (for the most part) rather than on my floor. I wish it wasn't made in China; my other water bowl is Fiesta, made in the US, but it's VERY heavy and when they break it (which they inevitably will because they're strong pups and it's stoneware), I'm going to be sad because it was fairly expensive. This one is much lighter and easier to move around the house, so I fill it and give them the water in the bedroom at night, which makes it so much easier to carry from the filtered tap (because they won't drink the tap water here, and I can't say I blame them lol). As you can see in the pic, they just had their evening cookies and some ended up in the bowl, but again better the bowl than my floor. If they knock it over, it won't break, which is a relief. This is an excellent bowl, and it has made 2 trips through the dishwasher with no issues. I wish it wasn't made in China, but I hope that at least the company monitors their facilities and products carefully (since it's a reputable brand). I would order another for water, but I'd replace ALL of their stoneware bowls (including food) with these if they were US or European made because the shape really cuts down the mess and the bowl is very sturdy. It's also pretty, so extra credit for that.?My retriever doesn't care what she eats out of as long as she eats. This bowl looks great. It's heavy and it has a rubber bottom that sticks to the ground. She used to push her bowl all over the floor trying to get every last morsel. Now it stays in once place so she can properly inhale her food in fifteen seconds. Nice bowl. It's Le Creuset so it's pricey. Otherwise, an excellent bowl. When I first saw the product description, for some reason I was imagining something much heavier, because I'm used to seeing the fancy Le Creuset kitchen products which are very substantial feeling. However this is a relatively thin steel bowl covered with enamel, so it's about average as far as build toughness. It looks nice, and the enamel coating makes it easy to clean. This bowl is Made in China.Got this for my dog and it's a lot bigger than expected. But he seems to love it, so I will definitely be looking into getting more from the collection.
